Custom Web Design for the State Theater

In November 2019, Kingsport native and auto repair business (The Body Shop) owner Mark Hunt purchased the historic State Theater property from Urban Synergy. With the pandemic pushing back work in 2020, work started to pick back up at full speed in 2022. In late 2022, Mark approached Intellithought with requests for a new logo, social media management, and a website to promote the theater’s progress.

Intellithought worked with the theater to create an initial website that allows the community to check the restoration progress, see the blueprints, and view the historic theater’s timeline.

The plans for the new theater include not just movies, but concerts and comedy shows as well. A roof-top entertainment area is also in the plans and they aim for Spring 2024 opening.
