About The Bristol Sessions Super Raffle

The Birthplace of Country Music (BCM) is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization that seeks to perpetuate, promote, and celebrate Bristol’s rich musical heritage; to educate and engage audiences worldwide regarding the history, impact and legacy of the 1927 Bristol Sessions; and to create recognition, opportunities, and economic benefit for our local and regional communities.

Every year, BCM holds an annual Bristol Sessions Super Raffle as a fundraiser to benefit the Birthplace of Country Music Museum. The Super Raffle is an opportunity for patrons to support the Museum while creating an opportunity to win one of 49 great prizes. A winner is drawn every five minutes, and prizes include vehicles, vacations, jewelry, cash, and much more.

Scope of Work

After responding to an RFP from BCM, Intellithought was awarded the project to build the new raffle ticketing system.

Key abilities of the ticketing system include:

• Automated generation of the sequential serial number combined with two randomly generated ticket numbers that are automatically applied to a ticket facsimile that can be printed by the purchaser
• User-friendly Online UI and UX for the front-end and admin area
• Payment gateway implementation for online sales
• Support for specials (example: “Buy 10 get 1 free”)
• Reporting that is simple to pull and review
• Lost Ticket Feature
• Styling that aligns with Bristol Super Sessions branding
