Visual Designer
Summary:
The Visual Designer will develop, design, and create skilled and complex artwork utilizing computer graphic arts techniques. This is a contract or temp-to-hire position for the Resource Pool.
Major Responsibilities:
- Design and create computer graphic artwork
- Consult with clients to determine presentation needs
- Utilize knowledge and training to determine format, approach, and content which will be most effective, meet objectives, and remain -within budget restrictions
- Operate necessary graphic equipment and computer programs, or other equipment as required
- Coordinate any outside services in such a manner as to ensure completion of projects within established time frames
- May provide information concerning techniques and capabilities

- Adobe Photoshop or Macromedia Freehand
- Visual Source Safe
- General Database access, SQL Server beneficial
- DHTML required
- ASP.NET, C#, VB.NET a plus
This individual will report to the Director, Project Management.
Education and Experience:
2 years' experience in computer operation or computer graphic arts, or an equivalent combination of education and training from which knowledge of computer operation and computer graphic arts may be acquired
